Australian Lock Company would like to congratulate and recognise the great work done by Boss Locks Locksmiths and Security Pty Ltd and Macarthur Locksmiths Pty Ltd in securing a large mining camp accommodation project on the 6-pin inline range, Series Six.

Boss Locks Locksmiths and Security Pty Ltd recently acquired Macarthur Locksmiths Pty Ltd, and together they been offering professional locksmithing services to Campbelltown and surrounding areas for over 40 years.

With several staff comprising of both qualified locksmiths and security technicians, Boss Locks Locksmiths and Security Pty Ltd and Macarthur Locksmiths Pty Ltd provide a vast array of services – 24hr emergency services, automotive, master key systems, cameras and alarms and access control, all the way down to a simple key cut.

When Renu Prakash, the Sales, Service & Operations Manager of Boss Locks Locksmiths and Security Pty Ltd was approached by the security provider to the mining camps based in QLD; she knew they could meet their requirements. With a project size of 5,000 cylinders, Renu needed a local manufacturer to be able to meet their deadline and supply the large volume of cylinders that was required.

She approached Australian Lock Company, and within 4 weeks ALC designed a special Series Six cylinder to suit the Electronic Key Override Handle being used in the mining camps’ accommodation dongas.

Production and supply began ASAP, further demonstrating that local manufacturing is still alive and well at Australian Lock Company.
